1981 Commercialisation of VICTREX® PEEK™ polymer products
1981 Introduction of Glass and Carbon filled VICTREX PEEK products
1986 Introduction of VICTREX® PEEK-HT™ polymer products
1987 Production start 1000 tonnes per annum
1988 PEEK™ earns ICI the 1st Queen’s Award for Technology
1993 Management buy-out of the PEEK polymer business from ICI
1995 Listed on the London Stock Exchange
1996 Plant extension to 1500 tonnes per annum
1997 Joint Venture with Mitsui Chemicals in Japan-Victrex MC Inc.
1999 Melt filtration and pelletising production brought in-house
1999 Plant extension to 2000 tonnes per annum
2000 Investment in DFDPM monomer production
